My name is Amy. I have been a lifelong family friend, distant cousin - but most of all an unofficial adopted sibling to the Bledsoe family.
Speaking for the family; it is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Denise (Bledsoe) Evers on January 19, 2026.
Denise was a lifelong warrior. She was a fighter! After defeating a rare leukemia in her late twenties and enjoying 20 years of remission, she spent this past year courageously battling lung cancer.
Throughout this difficult journey, she was never alone. She was supported by the unwavering love of her family, the guidance and dedication from her beloved daughter and the dedicated care of her mother, who served as her primary caregiver at home until the very end.
Denise‘s life was defined by the deep bonds she shared with those closest to her. She leaves behind:
Her devoted Mother, who was her rock & tireless caregiver.
Her children, Harlee and Anthony, whom she loved beyond measure.
Her sisters, who stood by her side through every high and low.
Her two cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
And many more. She was so loved.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We are raising funds to honor Denise‘s memory, and to help support the family she left behind. As they navigate the immerse weight of this loss, we want to ensure that funeral expenses and the needs of her children are met without added financial stress.
