Support for Delilah's Final Vet Care
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Michelle. My husband and I just lost our 14-year-old fur baby, Delilah. She wasn't feeling well, so I took her to the vet. The vet quickly found a very large mass on Delilah's spleen that needed to be removed. The mass and spleen weighed about 5 pounds. Delilah did well and came home the night of the surgery. The next morning, she was ready to go out to potty and have a bite to eat. I started her meds as the vet prescribed them. By the afternoon, something changed drastically. I was taking her out to potty before heading back to the vet to have the IV taken out when Delilah collapsed. My husband and I hurried to get her to the vet. By the time we arrived, Delilah was very weak. They rushed her to the back where CPR, intubation, and fluids were started. Delilah crashed. They brought her back, and then she was crashing again, and that's when the decision was made to let her go. We are asking for help to pay her vet bill that became very large very fast. We would greatly appreciate any donation you can help with. She was very much loved and a very happy girl. She lived a great 14 years of a happy, healthy life.
