Support for Delilah and her family

My name is Lauren and I am asking for your help for my friend and neighbor, Delilah Varela.   Delilah is a single mother of 4 beautiful children. She spent 8 years of her life proudly serving in the United States Marine Corp after her high school graduation. Following her 8 years of honorable service, Delilah completed her degree at the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan. She spent years working in restaurants, along with spending time in the kitchen classrooms, teaching others her culinary knowledge . On January 11, 2020, Delilah was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 3b. She began the fight of her life and went through a tough surgery, as well as intense chemotherapy. losimg feeling on both fingers and toes, Delilah has not been able to work and will not be able to work for some time, as she has a long way to go, on her road to recovery.  I know that times are tough for many of us, and many of us are under-employed and/or unemployed. Still, I am hoping that you will help Delilah out.   She was extremely reluctant to the idea of me setting up this fundraiser for her.  She is far more comfortable taking care of everyone else than accepting help, which is only more reason why she deserves  this.  Any amount you are able to give will go  straight to her and her rent/utilities and other needs the children may need. Please consider giving whatever you can, and supporting Delilah during this difficult time.  She and her family truly appreciate it! Delilah is strong and she is tough.  With our help, she will be able to focus on her recovery.
