Dee Dee and her family are going through an incredibly difficult time. Dee Dee’s daughter became very ill after catching the flu, which quickly turned into pneumonia and then sepsis. She has been in the hospital ICU on a ventilator for over three weeks, fighting for her life. During this time, Dee Dee has not been able to work so she can be by her daughter’s side, and her daughter has also been unable to work due to her critical condition.

This situation has put a tremendous strain on the family, especially with Dee Dee’s two young granddaughters needing care from other relatives while their mom is in the hospital. The emotional and financial stress is overwhelming, and the family is doing everything they can to support each other through this crisis.
