Dedra Leisure is not only my friend, but also a close colleague at our healthcare practice. She is the kind of person who is always willing to help anyone in need, whether it’s a patient, a coworker, or a friend. Now, Dedra is the one who needs a helping hand. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and her treatment journey will be long and challenging.

Dedra has two children and has spent the past year caring for her father during his illness, and now for her mother, all while working full-time. She used most of her paid time off to care for her parents, and now, as she begins her own treatment, she will need to take more time away from work. This means she will need extra support to cover her living expenses and bills while she focuses on healing and caring for her children.
