For most of my life, I dedicated myself to caring for others, working in nursing homes and supporting the elderly. It was a job I truly loved, and I always tried to give my best to those who needed it most. Now, after retiring, I find myself in a position where I am the one in need of help.

Recently, I was diagnosed with lung cancer. The news was overwhelming, and the reality of facing medical bills and travel expenses for treatment has been daunting. Living on less than a thousand dollars a month makes it nearly impossible to cover the costs of every test and appointment, many of which are more than half my monthly income. I never imagined I would be in this situation, but here I am, trying to make ends meet while focusing on my health.
