Hello everyone! This is Brett Wilson, Deborah's son. I am raising money to help with the cost of everything associated with my mom's passing. The goal is just an estimate of overall cost. I do not intend to reach the goal, but they made me set one. I appreciate any help that her friends can offer. I know money is tight for everyone right now, so don't feel obligated to give. I appreciate any help I get and, if you can't donate, I appreciate all of you being a friend to my mom.

My mom was very special to me. We were very close and both protective of each other. I am not really sure what to write here. My mom was loving and also very blunt. She was a small lady like her mom, but they both had a lot of fire inside and were never boring. Lucky for me, I inherited some of that in myself, so I'll always have part of her in me.

She passed away suddenly, and it was a shock to all of us. I take comfort in knowing she passed away in her sleep after coming home from work on October 2nd. She will be buried next to her brother in the Wiant family plot in Carbon Hill, Alabama.

I want to also thank everyone who has reached out and anyone who will reach out in the future. I've met a ton of family that I did not know I had. I am grateful for all of you. I appreciate all of the small things you are helping me with.
