Hello,

My name is Tonilynn. Yesterday, on December 4, 2025, our mother, Deborah Santos, passed away. This has been an unimaginably difficult time for our family. My sister Melissa, my brothers Patrick and adopted sister Trisha, and I are absolutely heartbroken. Mom was a truly special person whose kindness, strength, and love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In January 2025, she was diagnosed with Stage 1 non-aggressive lung cancer. She began radiation treatment in hopes of stopping it early, but instead the cancer became more aggressive. By August, it had progressed to Stage 4. She then tried immunotherapy, but the cancer continued to spread rapidly, overtaking her right lung, reaching her left, and compressing her airways, making it extremely difficult for her to breathe. She was in and out of the hospital each month to have fluid drained from her lungs. Everything happened so quickly, and losing her has been devastating and deeply unexpected.

We are reaching out for support and donations to help cover her medical bills as well as her funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family during this heartbreaking time.

Mom loved to sew and crochet; this was her favorite hobby. She also loved Indians and wolves. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family as much as possible.
