My name is Deano Leve, and I’m the nephew of Debbie and Tom Pope.

We are raising funds because my aunt Debbie has endured an unimaginable loss — both her husband and her home were taken from her in a devastating fire.

My uncle Tommy was a beloved part of the Maryville, TN community for nearly 50 years. From his early days as program director at WGAP radio in the mid-70s to his work as owner of Building Solar (formerly Daystar Energy), he made a lasting impact on the people around him. Tommy was an avid hiker, gardener, photographer, builder, and a man of God whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

Now, Debbie is left to navigate life without her partner and without the home they built together. She faces the enormous challenge of starting over, and she needs our help to rebuild from the ground up.

All donations will go directly to Debbie to help cover immediate living expenses, replace essential belongings, and begin the long process of creating a new home.
