Debbie Lomas is my coworker and friend, and she’s always been someone who works hard and cares deeply for those around her. Over the past ten years, Debbie has faced multiple bouts of cancer, each time fighting bravely while continuing to work, often at two jobs just to make ends meet. Now, she’s facing another cancer diagnosis, and her diabetes is making things even more complicated.

Debbie has run out of sick time, and her husband is disabled, so there’s no money coming in. The stress of worrying about bills and daily expenses is making a difficult situation even harder.
