Deb Rudolph and her three children, Maggie, Emma, and Jack, Have been facing an unimaginable loss after the sudden passing of Brian Rudolph in August 2025. Brian was only 44 years old when he became ill and passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly. As a devoted husband, father, friend, and coach, Brian touched the lives of so many in the Massapequa community. His children attend school and play sports locally, and the family has always been an active part of the neighborhood.
Brian was one of the funniest people, always playing a practical joke or two and spreading laughter wherever he went. He coached his son Jack’s sports teams, grew up in Baldwin, NY, and was a proud graduate of Chaminade High School. Brian was always giving back, helping anyone in need, and spreading kindness. Even in his last moments, he continued to give—donating his kidneys and saving two lives.
Deb has been a part of our gym family for over 5 years showing up to 5:30am workouts for years. After Learning from our dear friend that unfortunately Brian was the main provider for his family and that there also was no life insurance for him, her gym family wanted to organize something that will help the family and that will honor Brian’s life and spirit, So we came up with a special event: the Walk for Brian on April 11th. Our goal is to walk 100,000 steps in one day, retracing the places that shaped Brian’s life—from NYC, where he and Deb went on their first date, to Baldwin where he grew up, eventually walking past Chamindane high school and ending our walk by heading through Massapequa where they have been raising their kids.
We invite friends, family, and the community to join us in showing this amazing family support by sponsoring 1$ for every step we will walk on April 11th. This is a large goal, so you can help by donating $10 for 10 steps or $100 for a 100 steps! Any amount will help support this family.
The walk of 100,000 steps will take place on April 11th (weather permitting with a rain date of April 18th).
We invite anyone who wants to walk to join us in the final leg and show support (more details of the official map of the walk to follow)!! Please help us build momentum and share this fundraiser !!
Let’s show the Rudolph family that we will walk with them through this challenging time and that Brian’s spirit and goodness still live on. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference for Deb, Maggie, Emma, and Jack. Thank you for showing your support and helping this wonderful family remain together in Massapequa. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
