On Friday, 20st June 2025, my sister Deanne was involved in a serious car accident while travelling home from work. She was airlifted to Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital with critical injuries, including fractures and burns, and has since undergone major surgeries.

Deanne's recovery will be a long and difficult journey. Her husband, children, parents and siblings are by her side, doing everything they can to support her through this challenging time.

Deanne has worked for NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service for over 15 years. As a Team Leader, Ranger and Visitor Service Assistant, she has dedicated her career to protecting and preserving our natural and cultural heritage. She’s given so much of herself to her work and community — and now she needs our help.

This fundraiser has been set up to support Deanne and her family in the weeks and months ahead. Donations will help ease the financial burden during this critical time so the focus can remain on Deanne’s healing and the wellbeing of her family.
