Support for Dean(Hoodie): Burn Recovery Fund

Hi everyone,

I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend and business partner, Dean Hibbert (Hoodie Deans Snack Hut /Wolfe & Burke Photography), who suffered a terrible accident the other day while cooking. A flash fire left him with second- and third-degree burns on his arms, hands, chest, neck, and back.

Thankfully, his face was spared, and he is alive – and for that, I thank God. But the injuries are very painful and serious. He was admitted to the burn unit at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where he is getting the best care possible. He'll likely be there for at least two weeks undergoing tests, pain management, and possibly skin grafting.

As we all know Dean is a good man who’s always been there for his friends, family and community. He has built community gardens, shared his cooking skills, we've cooked at events, special causes and functions worked with me as a photographer over the last 15 yrs. He loves giving back. Now he needs help himself.

He’s a groundskeeper by trade – a hard, physical job he won't be able to do for at least two months. He also can't cook or take photos during recovery, which was how he supplemented his income. This accident has left him suddenly unable to work, facing medical expenses, and needing support while he heals.

I’m asking for donations to help cover:

✅ Lost wages for at least two months

✅ Medical costs and supplies not covered by insurance

✅ Transportation to and from the burn unit and follow-ups

✅ Basic living expenses while he recovers
