Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. My beloved 10-year-old nephew, De’Andre Johnson, was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. This news came suddenly when Andre was taken to the E.R. this past Sunday evening for severe leg pain. He was later transferred to our local Children’s Hospital, where he immediately began his fight against this aggressive cancer. Andre’s treatment plan is intensive. In the upcoming weeks, he will undergo a series of procedures, surgeries, and chemotherapy treatments. Despite all efforts, Andre will also need to have his right leg amputated to prevent the cancer from spreading further. This has been a devastating and life-altering development for Andre and our entire family. We are rallying together to support Andre in every way possible, but we know we cannot do it alone. The medical bills and expenses related to his treatment, travel, and care will be substantial. We are humbly asking for your support to help us cover these costs and ensure that Andre receives the best possible care during this challenging time.
