Support for Dazelle and her family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Elianah and I am fundraising for Dazelle Peters.
Could you imagine a 16-year-old being denied life-saving surgery? Well unfortunately for Dazelle, this heartbreaking thought has become her worse nightmare. Dazelle is on her deathbed, has no friends and the Australian medical system has turned their back towards her. She has to fight for her own life, not just physically but also against the system. In her first year of high school at just 13, Dazelle contracted leukaemia. After having a bone marrow transplant her lungs deteriorated because of complications. She is now suffering from graft vs host disease & chronic organising pneumonia. So now at 16, Dazelle needs a double lung transplant. According to St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, she is not eligible for a lung transplant because she hasn't had 4 Coivd-19 shots. The science now shows that these shots can be detrimental to somebody with a low immune system and Dazelle is scared to have them (being 16, she has a right to make her own decisions). However, there is hope if the New South Wales government steps in and orders the transplant. But if they don't, this poor girl will need to go overseas.
So I Elianah, will be shaving my head and donating it to make wigs, at 11am on the 18th of October at 'Alyce's Hair-Design' (Kurri Kurri). This is to help raise funds to support Dazelle and her family in whatever way they have to, to help save their daughter's life. Please feel free to come along, and because Dazelle is 16, I have set the goal to $1,600. Please help support the young and brave Dazelle and her strong family, thank you!!
