Update: the support of this community is amazing! We have exceeded our original goal of $30k which has been earmarked for the detained staff member and their family. Funds collected in excess will be used to support other vulnerable members of our daycare staff community.

A staff member of our daycare has been detained by ICE (along with two other family members), inflicting immense trauma on them and their family including children left behind. We are raising money to help cover legal bills as well as day to day expenses for their family as they navigate this awful situation.

In the interest of privacy and safety, the name of the staff member is not being publically shared.

They work every day to care for our babies. Any amount you can give will help us support them and their family during this incredibly difficult time.
