Hello Everyone.

It is extremely unfortunate that our beloved Dayakar was hospitalized with severe heart failure problems. On 17th February 2023, Dayakar was having severe chest pain and was admitted into the Emergency center at StoneSprings Hospital Center, Dulles, Virginia. But due to his severe and dangerous health condition, immediately he was shifted to Reston Hospitals, Reston VA on 17th at midnight. The doctors at Reston Hospitals kept him in ICU and confirmed that his heart function was stopped due to a block in the heart ''Metral Valve''. Immediately, Dayakar was AIR LIFTED from Reston Hospitals to ''MedStar'' hospitals, Washington DC. Since then he has been on ECMO machine. Doctors performed ''Open Heart Surgery'' to replace the Metral Valve. However, due to heart function failure, his Lungs, Liver, and Kidneys were also severely affected. He has been in ICU since then and it’s expected to be a long term stay with many medical challenges along the way. He is unable to eat and is on a feeding tube as of now.

Dayakar is a very good son, friend, and a bright student who came to the US with a dream of taking care of his family. Currently, he is pursuing master’s from the Wilmington University. His father is a farmer and does not make a lot of money to support Dayakar's tuition fee and is currently funded through a bank loan.

Dayakar's situation is still critical and the final outcome is not yet known as doctors are continuously monitoring and performing necessary treatment to bring back him to normal. With almighty grace upon him, he is under the care of very good cardiologists who are monitoring him day to day. In the meantime, the medical expenses are piling up and burdening the family financially because of multiple surgeries, air-lift, scans, and constant monitoring by cardiologists & surgeons.
