Dawn was an outstanding woman who always put others before herself, no matter how much pain she was in. Even while struggling with arthritis and waking up each day feeling unwell, she continued to help anyone who needed her. Her deep love for her family and her faith in Jesus Christ were at the center of everything she did. One memory that stands out is how, even when she knew her time was running out, Dawn kept pushing forward as if everything was normal, simply because she wanted to keep helping those around her.
On June 21st, 2025, Dawn suffered a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. After over 40 minutes of resuscitation, she was placed on life support, but her heart was too damaged to recover. On June 28th, she passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In her final act of generosity, Dawn donated her liver and lungs, giving others a chance at life. Our family is now facing significant expenses, including house bills, and the challenge of affording food. My father, Michael, is currently out of work as he supports our family through this loss.
We are deeply grateful for any support during this difficult time. Every donation will help us manage the immediate costs and keep our household afloat as we adjust to life without Dawn. Your kindness means so much to us, and we know Dawn would be incredibly thankful for the help and compassion shown to her family.
