On November 18th, 2025, Douglas Clyde West, 56, of Belleville, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home. Douglas was born on October 29, 1969, in St. Louis, MO, and was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn West, his sons Caleb (Samanda) West and Quinton Goetz, his brother James West, and his dear nieces and nephews. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and JoAnn West.

Douglas’s sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and facing the difficult task of arranging his funeral and honoring his memory. Dawn, his devoted wife, is now managing the unexpected financial burden of funeral costs and related expenses. During this time of grief, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support.
