My brother, David, recently experienced a life-threatening emergency when his airway became blocked. For 30 minutes, he was without oxygen, and although the medical team was able to resuscitate him, he has been in the ICU for over a week. Right now, David is on a ventilator and will soon need a tracheotomy to help him breathe.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. David is facing a long road to recovery, and while he is fighting to heal, he is unable to work or manage his regular expenses. The bills and rent are piling up, adding extra stress to an already overwhelming situation.
