We lost my dad, Marvin Neilson, on July 20, 2026.  He grew up in Pond Creek Oklahoma, spent most of his life and raised us kids in Enid and spent the last decade living in Fairview, Oklahoma.

We held his 71st birthday party at the lake with family and friends.   He went into the hospital four days later and lost his fight with several medical problems and just a few few short weeks. 

Sadly, while he was in the hospital and on hospice somebody the family thought was trustworthy was emptying his bank account and spending his last Social Security check, and has since been turned over to the authorities for that.

That leaves us with not only a hole in our hearts, missing our father, but also a Budget short fall because money that we could’ve used to put toward his cremation is no longer available, and everybody in the family is on shoestring Budget barely able to get by ourselves without trying to cover the cost of the cremation so we need some help.
