Support for David Yang & Family

Donativo protegido
As some of you may have heard, one of our very own recently suffered a stroke. David Yang, one of the original founder and backbone of Fresh N Salty Kayak Fishing, has continuously donated, taken part, and helped organize the success of all our Fresh N Salty group events.

On October 5, 2022 at around midnight, David suffered a stroke and was rushed by Ambulance to the Emergency room. Physicians found an excessive amount of blood and fluid in his brain and proceeded with a craniectomy to relieve pressure and fluid build up.

A month later, David was transferred over to Alameda Rehabilitation where he is continuously working on therapy. David has since regained his speech and is slowly progressing on the function of the left side of his body.

David’s wife (Janice) is at home taking care of their son, daughter, and are expecting twins in 4 months. David was the main source of income and has not worked since his stroke. With no source of income, the family has turned to government assistance programs and exhausted all their savings.

A humble man, David has never asked for help or to be recognized by anyone. Even as the backbone to Fresh N Salty, he never took credit for all the work he put in. I have put together this GoFund me in hopes to financially help David and Janice during these hard times. All donations will go towards the family’s financial well-being and medical expenses.

No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to my GoFundMe.
