In Loving Memory of David Yanez
It is with unimaginable sadness that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of my husband, David Yanez. There are no words that can truly express the loss we are feeling — as a husband, father, and friend, David was everything to us. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will never be forgotten.
David was the kind of man who made everyone feel seen and valued. At the gym, where he poured his heart into bodybuilding, he created a community of friendship and encouragement. Whether someone was stepping into the gym for the first time or was a seasoned pro, David treated them the same with respect, support, and genuine care. That was just who he was.
He loved deeply and unconditionally. He loved me, he loved our daughter, and he showed it every single day. He protected, provided, and poured everything into being the best partner and father. Nothing could ever compare to the kind of man he was.
He was also a proud 13 year member of IBEW Local 716. He took great pride in his work, his union, and the brotherhood it represented. David always gave his best and took care of those around him — on the job and in life.
David never took shortcuts in life, in bodybuilding or in love. He believed in hard work, in showing up, and in being there for his people. That’s what made him David. He was a gift to all of us, and I’m so proud to have shared life with him.
I’ve learned so much from him, and I will do my best to carry his light forward, especially for our daughter.
If you feel led to support us during this incredibly difficult time; to help with funeral expenses, our immediate needs, and to honor David’s memory — we are deeply grateful.
Thank you for loving him with us.
Service details will be shared once they are finalized.
