“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

On July 5th, 2022, our sweet friend, David Torres, had a stroke a week after testing positive for Covid. The stroke was to the left side of his brain which has affected the right side of his body. At this point, he is in stable condition with a long road to recovery.

Stroke recovery is specific to each individual, and like David’s sister, Paola, has said- this will be a marathon not a sprint. Recovery at this point means inpatient rehabilitation with a team of professionals helping our friend get better.

If you know anything about David, you know that he has a larger than life personality, he never meets a stranger, and he’s got a smile that can light up a room. He loves his family and friends so passionately. This is a chance for us to give a little of that love back.
