With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to ask for support for David Ruebensaal and his family during an incredibly difficult and tender time.

David has been courageously battling Stage 4 stomach cancer. Despite months of strength, hope, and perseverance, David was recently sent home on hospice care, where he is now surrounded by love and comfort.

David is a devoted husband to Laura and a deeply loving father to their three children. His family means everything to him, and his greatest wish is to spend his remaining time at home, held in peace, dignity, and surrounded by those he loves most.

As you can imagine, this journey has brought overwhelming emotional and financial challenges. Laura wants nothing more than to be fully present for David and their children during this time — to care for him, advocate for him, and cherish each moment together — without the added stress of financial uncertainty.

Funds raised will help to:

• Allow Laura to take time away from work so she can be at David’s side

• Cover medical bills and hospice-related expenses

• Assist with ongoing treatment options, comfort care, and medications

• Help ease the everyday financial burdens of supporting a family during this season
