Dear Friends and Family,

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved David Mata Ventura, a cherished father, loving brother, and friend. David, who was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, and joy.

David was a loving father to his sons David and Christian Mata. His greatest joy came from spending time with his boys, whether it was playing soccer at Golden Gate Park Polo Field, enjoying afternoons at North Beach playground, or creating memories in front of their North Beach home on Greenwich and Grant. Their special father-son moments, like cruising through the city in his Ford Bronco while listening to Corridos, will forever remain treasured memories for David and Christian.

Known for his generous spirit and love of cooking, David had a gift for bringing people together. At every gathering, he made sure everyone felt welcomed and well-fed, sharing his love through the meals he prepared.

We are reaching out to our community to help give David the memorial service he deserves. Your contribution will help cover funeral expenses and allow family and friends to properly honor his memory and say our final goodbyes. Whatever amount you can give will be greatly appreciated.
