David Maldonado-Ocelotl was a loving son, brother, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of so many with his kindness, laughter, and generous spirit. On June 5, 2026, David was caught in a rip current in Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island while swimming with friends. Emergency responders and local surfers worked tirelessly to rescue him, but despite their efforts, David later passed away at the hospital. His loss has left an unimaginable void in our hearts, and we are devastated by his passing.

David brought joy to everyone around him, and his memory will live on in the countless lives he impacted. We are creating this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden on his family during this difficult time.
