Dear Friends and Family,

We're heartbroken to share the loss of beloved son and brother, David Horton, on June 4th, 2024. He was a victim of senseless violence and did not survive his injuries. This is an unexpected hardship for his family to bear and they would benefit greatly from the support of their communities to cover the cost of cremation, urn, and services. I am his older brother, Rik Pape's, wife and am raising funds on behalf of my father-in-law and mother-in-law, Myron and Linda Fountain. All funds will go directly to them.

David was a beloved friend, animal lover, an avid science fiction fan, and caretaker for his disabled father. We will miss his honesty, his intellect, strong moral compass, and devotion to the ones he loved most.
