In the past week, both of our parents, David and Melani, have been hospitalized with the flu and pneumonia, on top of additional health challenges for each parent. With both parents in the hospital, our family has been stretched thin — caring for their youngest son, Jaxon, who is autistic, and coordinating visits and updates between hospital stays.
