Support for David and Kelsey Brookman

Hello everyone! I created this fundraiser for a close friend who works at Allen with me. Her husband, David, was in a serious motorcycle accident this weekend. David was on his motorcycle and was hit by a car when the driver ran a red light. David suffered significant injuries to his left leg requiring 2 surgeries over the weekend. He had a very bad femur fracture and a patella fracture. Fortunately, David had no internal injuries or head injury. At this time, it looks like David will be off work for at least the next 12 weeks. Kelsey and David welcomed their first child in February. Kelsey accepted a part time, weekend package position with us so she could stay with Jace and her step son, Owen, during the week. They will soon be faced with the financial burden that will come with David being unable to provide income. Kelsey and David are two of the kindest, most humble people I know. They are always looking to help others. Our goal is to provide them with enough money to help pay their mortgage and household bills while David is healing.
