In the summer of 2024, my stepdad Dave was diagnosed with T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia, a very rare and aggressive cancer. Since then, our family has been on a challenging journey. Dave underwent a bone marrow transplant in December 2025, which initially brought hope, but he continues to face serious complications from the transplant and ongoing treatments. Now, his team at Mass General has recommended a second bone marrow transplant, scheduled for March 26th, to give him the best chance at recovery.

Throughout this process, my mother has been Dave’s primary caregiver, all while working full time. The emotional and physical toll has been immense, and the financial strain is growing. We are raising funds to help with medical bills, travel costs, and essential needs-which include having their house professionally cleaned to keep Dave safe from infection, covering the cost of my mom staying close to him in Boston during treatment, and providing food and meal services so they can focus on healing instead of daily logistics. Your support will help ease the stress that has weighed on our family for the past year and a half.
