Raising Nickels for the Nichols cancer fund

This is the kind of post that we pray we never have to write, however unfortunately here we are.

On Thursday, August 26 Dave went into the ER for stomach issues. After a CT scan they determined that Dave was suffering from a perforated Colon that was caused by a tumor, which was causing a blockage and poison to enter his body. We were also advised that in addition to the tumor causing the blockage, there were other tumors in the colon, as well as on the liver. The pathology report came back today confirming that it is Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

Because of his diagnosis, he will be unable to work and has a long journey of treatment & healing ahead. Teri has been out of work since the pandemic began and also will not be able to work for the forseeable future as she will be Davey’s primary caregiver.  Any donations will go to help with medical bills, living expenses, ect so that they can focus on Davey's health and not have to worry about anything other than his journey.
