Dave Kurth and his family are facing a challenging time. Dave has been struggling with severe back problems and recently learned he needs surgery on two discs. All of this after previous surgical attempts to fix this issue. This surgery is scheduled for September 10, and while Dave is determined to get through it, he will be unable to work for at least 12 weeks. Unfortunately, his employer does not offer long-term disability, so Dave will not receive any income during his recovery. This leaves his wife Emily, their two sons Oliver and Landon, and their daughter Evelynn in a difficult position as they try to manage everyday expenses without Dave’s paycheck.

The funds raised will help the Kurth family cover essential needs like groceries, household bills, and mounting medical expenses while Dave recovers. Dave and Emily have always been the backbone of their neighborhood, offering support to friends and neighbors in times of need. In fact, they were instrumental in helping me through my own liver transplant last year, and their kindness has touched many lives in our community. Now, as Dave faces this surgery, he remains in high spirits and is fighting through the pain, but the family could use a lift from those who care about them.
