This fundraiser has officially ended

This is the official Fundraiser page for the end-of-life expenses of Dave (Brooklyn) Ceely. RIP Sept 28, 1956 - Dec 24, 2025.

My name is Tempest. Dave was a very dear friend of mine, and he once told me I was one of the best friends he ever had, so I guess I need to live up to that and put this out there. We need help with his final expenses... Dave was a biker, tattoo artist, rebel, and true outlaw—the 1% kind that lived his life by the old ways of Honor, Love, Loyalty, and Respect that exist outside the norm, in a world of bikes, leather vests and endless highways. He wouldn't have it any other way. As such, when the sun finally sets, there are often few to help take care of the final expenses to complete the trip to the other side, so we need to raise a bit of funds. I'm pitching in where I can, and this fundraiser will go directly to seeing those expenses met. If you've got something you can give, please consider donating. I'm at a loss for words—writing this means he ain't coming back, so I hate doing it, but at the same time, it has to be done. Dave was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 28, 1956, a son of the late Michael Jermoe Ceely and Doris Serpico Ceely. He spent his early years in New York and New Jersey before enlisting in the Army at the age of 17. After completing his service, he relocated to California, where he worked as a tattoo artist at Bright Ideas Tattoos and Body Piercing in Sacramento. It was during his time in California that he earned the nickname “Brooklyn.”

Dave was a biker at heart, with a deep love for riding and working on motorcycles. He always enjoyed the feeling of the wind in his face. He was a natural people person who enjoyed striking up conversations with anyone he met and was known for his friendly personality and sense of humor. He was a sweet and loving man, who always tried to help others.

Survivors include his son, Harley A. Ceely of Sacramento, CA, sister, Jesse Ceely and her son, Judd Ceely. He will be missed by the Ceely and Marion families in both New York and New Jersey, as well as many friends across the country. Dave will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.
