Hello, my name is Roxanne Campbell; I have started this fundraiser with the permission of Dave Andreola and Amanda Wiley. This past Monday, Dave went to the hospital because he had been feeling sick for several weeks. After blood work and several scans (MRI, CT) Dave was unfortunately diagnosed with Leukemia. Dave is currently at Sault Area Hospital, where he will stay until he is flown to Sudbury to begin treatment, which is expected to last from five to seven weeks.

Amanda, who may be the bravest woman I know, also has her own health issues, which limits her mobility and challenges her daily functioning. Amanda and Dave have a son named Ashton, who is wiser than most at ten years old and wants his family to be healthy and happy.

Dave is currently on employment insurance, and Amanda receives disability. Dave will not be able to work through his treatments and most likely will have to put looking for employment on the back burner until he is healthy enough. This puts a great financial strain on this family.

For all those who love Dave and Amanda, my hope is that we can support the family financially so that Dave can concentrate on his treatment plan and Amanda can take care of Ashton at home. The money donated will go towards rent, groceries, utilities, travel, medical needs etc.
