My 24-year-old daughter has recently been diagnosed with Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS), they said its a rare and aggressive cancer. In June of 2024, she began to have severe migraines. She went to the ER and at first she was told it's TMJ, all visits after she was told it was just cluster headaches. Month after month and different emergency rooms and at least 8 ER visits, she was given different meds to treat migraines or cluster headaches despite other symptoms from the start (speech being muffled and her being unable to stick her tongue out without it automatically going to the right) and loss of hearing in her right ear. I went with her to the emergency room a few times and i did ask if they could do a CT scan and was told there was no need to do one due to it being "cluster migraines".

On January 27th, 2025, we went yet again to the emergency room and they FINALLY did a CT scan. At that time, it was just a mass.

Jan 30th she saw an ENT specialist who told us what they thought it was, January 31st she had an MRI and a week later was told it's about the size of a baseball and it's pushing on her spine, vocal cords, roof of her mouth, and it's intertwined with her carotid artery. The first biopsy February 11th was inconclusive, so they did an open biopsy on March 12th and on March 17th were told it is cancer and she would have to do chemotherapy and radiation. On 5/6/25 we went back to the hospital because she had a migraine that had not subsided in over 48hrs with the pain meds and she was not able to keep down anything, they did another CT scan and informed us that it had spread to the base of her brain stem and outward. She still has been trying to keep a good attitude despite it all, but I know this is just the beginning. The money that's raised is to help to support her while she goes thru chemo an radiation, she also wants to look into her fertility options with the hopes to have children in the future.

We are trying to make sure she isn't going to have to worry about anything through all this...so now we're here. If anything, just keep my baby in your prayers!
