Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out during a challenging time for The Klages Family. Darren has recently been hospitalized due to suffering a Nonaneurysmal Perimesencephalic Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (PNSAH). Thankfully due to the quick actions by his wife Rani, Darren was able to receive medications and care, but has a long road ahead of him.

Darren has always been the rock of the family and they mean the world to him. Darren is a hard-working self-employed roofer. Rani is so supportive to Darren and dedicated to their family as well as a caregiver to many in the Hartford community.

Many of you have reached out to see how you can help, so we’ve set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with overwhelming costs. Darren and Rani would never ask for help as they’re always the helpers. We as friends feel that they would help anyone out and we want to help them make this a little bit easier. We aim to raise funds to cover medical bills and other related expenses during this period when Darren and Rani cannot work and the family's income is greatly reduced.
