My oldest daughter, Darlene Lee, was diagnosed with breast cancer towards the end of 2023. It was a devastating moment for our family, and since then, she has shown incredible strength. Darlene recently underwent surgery and spent a week in the hospital. Her husband stayed by her side in Ann Arbor, taking time off work to support her during this difficult time. With no income coming in, they have started to fall behind on their mortgage payment and other day-to-day expenses.

Darlene is the mother to six wonderful children: Genesis, Brooklyn, Bertram, Rain, Winter, and Ezra. Each of them is a blessing, and their love and support have helped Darlene through this challenging time. As a parent, I am doing everything I can to help Darlene and her family, but the financial strain is overwhelming. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping them catch up on their mortgage and cover essential living costs while Darlene recovers.
