In Loving Memory of Darlene “DJ” Mariano

Update 1/28/24: It is with a heavy heart that we share that Darlene passed away peacefully the morning of January 28th with loved ones by her side. She is no longer in pain and is at peace in the hands of our Lord and Savior. We ask for continued prayers for Darlene’s new journey in heaven and for her family as they mourn their heartbreaking loss. As we pray for peace, we want to provide the family financial peace while they navigate their new reality of planning a funeral and the incurred costs that come with it. Any donations are greatly appreciated to continue supporting Darlene’s family during this devastating time. Thank you to all who have supported financially and mentally thus far and for any future support in advance. We will miss Darlene dearly, but find peace in knowing how much she was loved and cared for by so many. Her laughter, selflessness, and positivity will forever live in our hearts. Until we meet again.

Many know Darlene as a petite powerhouse full of energy, laughter, and life. It pains us to share that Darlene has suffered a devastating hemorrhagic stroke, which caused severe bleeding and pressure in her brain, and is currently on life support.

Due to the magnitude of the bleeding and pressure, Darlene’s condition continues to worsen, and at this point, a miracle would be needed for her chance at any recovery.

As she continues to be supported by breathing tubes, we pray that Darlene finds peace in the coming days and that she knows she is surrounded by the love of all her family and friends, near and far.

Darlene is the most positive, feel-good, and selfless human there is. She is a fighter in every sense of her life, and just like she is with everyone she loves, she has a lot of people in her corner fighting for her too.

We are grateful for the outpour of healing thoughts, prayers, and visits over these past few days. As this unexpected tragedy has unfolded, we are humbly asking for support for her family to cover medical expenses, travel costs, and loss of income to relieve the financial burdens during this heartbreaking time and for the days to come. Any contribution would make a significant impact.
