Darla Harmon was diagnosed with (ALS) Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, on October 29, 2020. She was given only a few years to live and left with no hope medically. Despite what the doctors said, Darla has lived passed the time she was told and continues to thrive and fight this disease. Since then, there have been new medical treatments for this disease to potentially help prolong life and the possibility of regaining some function and movement. Unfortunately, the insurance company will only cover a small percentage of the cost leaving the rest to come out of pocket. That being the case, we are asking for any donation to help towards this cause so she can have a chance at more time and possibly move some of her limbs again.
