Help Support for Darius Wong's Funeral and Family

My name is Victor, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart following the sudden and heartbreaking passing of my older brother, Darius Wong. Darius left this world far too soon and in the most innocent of ways—without truly knowing what was happening. He was a kind soul with so much more life ahead of him. As we try to come to terms with this tragic loss, I’m asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and to give Darius the peaceful farewell he deserves. More importantly, we are also seeking justice for Darius. No one should have to experience what he went through, and we won’t stop until the truth is known and accountability is found. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family during this incredibly difficult time.

We will miss him very much he created the ice cream truck project for his 2 beautiful daughters to turn in for a school project.

On Saturday, May 31st at 7:12 pm on Filhurst St in Baldwin Park, my brother Darius Wong was the innocent bystander that was walking down the street where he was shot in the back. Baldwin Park police were called in to assist where they were also met with gunfire and a police officer was killed. Darius was a son, brother, husband, and father who was murdered in cold blood just for walking down the street to go to a family party. He dropped off his wife and the 2 kids and sister-in-law at the party and parked several blocks down the street. His car was nowhere near the shooter’s house. If his wife and sister in law were with him during that time, they would’ve been victims as well. Darius was 43 years old from Hacienda Heights. He was a hardworking man who cared deeply for his family. His passion for helping others extended beyond his own family. He dedicated himself to show up to work everyday at Choc Orange Hospital. We are asking the community for help to support his wife Mindy and his 2 daughters that are 3 and 5 years old. We are trying to get funds to help with funeral arrangements and the ongoing expenses to help our family move forward with this horrible tragedy that we have to live with for the rest of our lives.
