Darin was a beloved son, brother, father, husband, and friend to so many people. He brought so much laughter and joy to his friends and family. Darin proudly served our country as a Military Policeman in the Illinois National Guard. He deployed with the 233 MP Company to Kuwait from March to December 2021 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom - Spartan Shield.

Darin was a newlywed who was recently married this past March to the love of his life, Marilah Miller. Darin and Marilah shared a love that was found in fairy tales. They both knew right away that they were meant to be together. Darin and Marilah formed a family with their daughter, Brynlee, and were expecting their next daughter at the end of July of 2024. Darin was proud of his newly formed family and excited at the arrival of their daughter.

There will never be another soul like Darin Durbin.
