Hi, my name is Augustine Medina, Monica Medina-Espinoza's younger brother. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. She had a total mastectomy that same year with chemo treatments that followed. In 2018 as part of a preventative measure she had a total hysterectomy. Beginning of 2021 she had emergency colectomy surgery and ended up with a permanent stoma. After a four year battle Monica passed away on July 18, 2021. As her cancer progressed she was no longer able to continue working. With that her son Darian stayed at home and help care for his mother for the past couple years. During that time Darian had no source of income. With the recent passing of his mother and numerous medical expenses, I'm asking for donations to help Darian regain his ability to become self sufficient once again. The family appreciates any help you can give to Darian at this difficult time in his life. Monica has touch many people in her life and was always ready to help anyone, no matter what the situation was. She will forever be our angel.
