My name is Kyle, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my wife, Darcy. Darcy recently underwent pancreatic surgery for a IPMN Side branch cyst Thursday January 8th and while we hoped for a smooth recovery, anticipating leaving Monday January 12th she’s now facing serious complications. Due to leakage after the surgery, Darcy has to remain in the hospital much longer than we expected to have a stent placed through an endoscopy at the earliest Monday January 19th . This has been a difficult and emotional time for both of us, as we try to navigate her health challenges and the uncertainty of when she’ll be able to come home to be recovering for another 4 weeks.
We’ve always been hardworking individuals, but right now, neither of us can work because we need to be at the hospital which is in Rochester at the Mayo. The bills, however, don’t stop coming. The funds raised here will go directly toward our rent, so we have a home to return to, as well as utilities, meals for both of us, transportation for when Darcy is finally able to come home, and dog boarding for Darcy’s beloved dog Tuesday , who has been by her side for 9 years. Every bit of support and prayers will help us keep up with the essentials and relieve some of the stress during this overwhelming time.
We are so grateful for any help, no matter the amount. Your kindness will make a real difference for us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you’re able to donate or share our story, it would mean the world to us. Thank you for supporting Darcy and helping us get through this together.
