️ In Memory of Daran Wiley IV
On August 7th, 2025, 14-year-old Daran Wiley IV was tragically struck by a train just minutes from his school while on his way to a school event.
Daran was a gifted, kind, and determined young man. Ranked in the 99th percentile academically, he was a talented musician, a martial arts gold medalist, and had dreams of attending Howard University to study law. He had just completed summer classes to get ahead in school and was preparing to start his freshman year this fall.
More than anything, Daran was a devoted son and brother—especially to his two siblings with special needs, whom he helped care for with love and maturity beyond his years.
His sudden passing has devastated his family. His mother, who is unsure when she’ll return to work, now faces not only funeral expenses but the ongoing emotional and financial challenges of grieving and supporting her other children.
This fundraiser is to help ease that burden—covering therapy, time off work, and unexpected costs during this heartbreaking time.
If you're able to donate or share, the family is deeply grateful.
Thank you for honoring Daran’s life and supporting his loved ones.
