Dan was diagnosed with MDS in October, and the months that followed were incredibly difficult for our family. He began his first round of chemotherapy on February 17, hoping for a positive outcome. However, on Sunday, the 22nd, he was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain bleed and stroke. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, his condition worsened, and on March 6 he went into cardiac arrest. Dan passed away on March 7, leaving us heartbroken and facing many unexpected challenges.

Dan was a caring and wonderful person to everyone he met. He was a loving father and husband, always putting his family first. Throughout his battle, he was so brave and fought so hard, inspiring everyone around him with his strength and determination. The funds raised will help cover the costs of his hospital stay, mounting medical bills, the memorial service, and unexpected travel expenses that have accrued. Most importantly, the support will help my mother, Angela, who is still recovering from her own battle with breast cancer at the beginning of last year. Our family is doing our best to cope, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
