Help Danni Fight Returning Cancer & Keep Her Family Stable
Hello, my name is Danni, and I’m reaching out I never imagined needing to ask for help, but today we truly cannot do this alone.
❤️ My Cancer Journey
On May 21st, 2025, I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer.
Just two weeks later, on June 5th, my thyroid was removed, and in August I completed radioactive iodine treatment—a difficult process that required me to quarantine alone for a week. Even our son, Jax, couldn’t be home with me.
For a short time, things looked hopeful. My cancer markers dropped from 49.9 to 30.1, and we believed we were finally on the road to healing.
But on November 19th, my latest bloodwork showed my markers had spiked to 177.9. This means the cancer has returned, and we now have to locate where it’s growing. I have a CT scan scheduled and may need a PET scan next.
❤️ Our Family’s Challenges
My husband is 100% disabled due to severe psoriasis, congestive heart failure, and diabetes. He is my biggest supporter, but he cannot work.
Our 15-year-old son is the light in our lives. Together, we’ve survived heartbreak, loss, everyday difficulties and my long recovery afterbreakin my leg in 2024. With all of it we joked, laughed, did things as a family. We leaned on each other and our faith. I am working full time through this, making sure I have 2 days off to rest. My husband and i are
managing our home being parents, and fighting cancer all at once. It is becoming harder each day to keep up with medical costs, household needs, basic bills, Christmas is coming, we are 1 payment behind on our car and house. We don't go out it cost to much, we do a lot of family stuff like movies at home with pop corn and
m & m's of course, take drives, my son and I went magnet fishing that was so much fun! Those times I forget the hard stuff then bam there it is.
❤️ Why We Need Help
We live paycheck to paycheck on disability income and my income. Our savings are nearly gone, and the rising cost of medical care, & basic needs is overwhelming.
Your support would go directlytoward:
Medications
Bloodwork and imaging scans
Upcoming cancer treatments
Medical bills
Essential household expenses
Our biggest fears are losing our home, losing our only car, or having to choose between groceries and medication.
I also hope to continue to creat moments of hope and togetherness before treatment intensifies.
❤️ We’ve Always Tried to Give Back
Our family has always believed in helping others. We’re active in our church, and despite our struggles, my son, and I went on a mission trip this past October. Giving is in our hearts—but now, we’re humbly asking for help ourselves.
❤️ How You Can Help
Any amount—big or small—truly makes a difference.
Sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support as we navigate this difficult chapter.
