Danna and I have been friends and coworkers for many years, and I’ve seen firsthand how caring and hardworking she is. Recently, Danna suffered a serious knee injury that left her with a fracture. She’s already been off work for three weeks, and now she’s facing surgery that will keep her from returning to her job in home healthcare for at least another six weeks. Since home healthcare is her only source of income, this has put her in a very difficult position.
