My name is Daniel.
I am the son of an incredible father who has done nothing short of extraordinary for me and my family. I am the middle child, with an older sister and a younger brother, and everything we have today is because of my dad’s sacrifices.
Over 23 years ago, my father left his home in Guatemala and made the difficult journey to the United States. He walked for more than a week through the desert, driven by one goal—to give his family a better life and to pursue the American dream. Since that day, he has worked tirelessly, day and night, to provide for us.
My dad is more than just a provider—he is a leader in our church, a musician, and a singer. He has alawys helped us n our journey for school. He has always been someone others can look up to. But to me, he is simply the person who never stopped showing up for his family. I remember him working long hours and overtime just to make sure we had school supplies, clothes, and everything we needed. Even when things were difficult, he never complained, never gave up, and never asked for anything in return. Hes worked in our church with the youth giving support emotianlly to teens who dont have that support.
Now, our family is facing one of the hardest moments of our lives. My father is at risk of deportation, and the thought of losing him—of being separated from the person who has been our foundation—is heartbreaking. Along with the emotional pain, we are also facing overwhelming legal and financial challenges as we try to fight for him and prepare for what may come.
We are humbly asking for your support during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us cover legal fees and support my father through this process. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story would mean so much to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support. Your compassion means more to us than words can express.
Hebrews 13:16 (NIV): "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
