My big brother Daniel passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2026, and I never thought in a million years I'd be writing those words. I still can't comprehend that he's gone, and I don't know if I ever truly will. My heart is absolutely shattered for my family and for the family he leaves behind.

Daniel was my first friend, my protector, and one of the most important people in my life. He had a big personality, a brilliant and complex mind, and a heart that loved deeply and fiercely. He was stubborn in all the ways that made him who he was, but he was also loyal, funny, compassionate, and endlessly devoted to the people he loved. We were always the black sheep together, and no matter where life took us, he was my brother and one of my greatest friends.

I wish I could have one more hug, one more conversation, one more kiss on the cheek. I wish I could tell him how much he meant to all of us. Daniel was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend. His absence leaves a hole that can never be filled. I will see pieces of him in his daughter Tallulah and in all of his children, who carry his spirit forward.

Daniel fought battles that many people never saw. He tried his best to stay. I hope now you are at peace, brother, and no longer have to carry the struggles that weighed so heavily on you. We will carry your memory, your laughter, and our love for you with us always.

Daniel leaves behind his wife and three beautiful children, who are now facing the unimaginable reality of navigating life without him. As they grieve this devastating loss, they are also faced with the financial burdens that come with an unexpected passing, including memorial and cremation expenses, as well as the day-to-day costs of supporting a young family.
